As a B.Ed. teacher trainee, one of the most awaited milestones in our course is Teaching Practice —the moment when we step into real classrooms, not as students, but as teachers. That moment finally arrived for me on July 16, 2025. I was allotted to St. Johns Higher Secondary School , Mattom, along with six fellow trainees. Our group included: Hannan, and Parvathy S. Kumar and myself from the physical science option.Amrutha , Aiswarya N, Leshmipriya from English option and Aiswarya Sivan from Natural Science option. We reached the school filled with excitement, nervousness, and high hopes. π️ Day 1: A Whirlwind Start The first day was packed with substitution periods. From Classes 5 to 9, we found ourselves moving in and out of classrooms, filling in wherever needed.
