January 10, 2025, marked a milestone in our college life — the celebration of College Union Day. It was a long-awaited event that brought excitement and unity across the campus. For us, the student union members, it was especially meaningful. After much anticipation, we finally unveiled the name of our new college union: ADWAYA.

The day began with a heartfelt inaugural ceremony led by Sri. Revikumar MP, an HSST Economics teacher, NSS Coordinator at Amritha HSS Vallikunnam, and a beloved Nadan Pattu singer. He officially inaugurated the union by lighting the ceremonial lamp, filling the hall with hope and pride.

Following the inauguration, each student club made a symbolic contribution to the college in honor of Union Day. Our Sports Club gifted a throwball and a Snake and Ladder game kit, promoting both active play and relaxation on campus.

The afternoon was filled with color, rhythm, and spirit as cultural performances took center stage. Every club presented programs that reflected their mission and energy. The Sports Club performed a vibrant dance inspired by Indian sports, showcasing the strength and diversity of our athletic heritage.

Union Day 2025 was more than just a celebration — it was the official birth of ADWAYA, a symbol of togetherness, creativity, and student empowerment. It was a day we’ll cherish for years to come.

As a B.Ed. teacher trainee, one of the most awaited milestones in our course is Teaching Practice —the moment when we step into real classrooms, not as students, but as teachers. On the morning of April 27, we arrived at the misty hill station of Kodaikanal. The serene landscapes and cool climate refreshed us instantly. We visited the famous Kodaikanal Lake, enjoyed cycling and boating, and explored breathtaking spots like the Guna Caves and the surrounding mountains. Nature was at its best, and we soaked in every view. In the evening, we gathered for a lively campfire, where music, dance, and laughter brought us all closer. We stayed the night in Kodaikanal, cherishing the warmth of friendship and the chill of the hills.

✨ Eighth Week of Teaching Practice – PHASE I (September 8–12, 2025)

The calm of the break is over, and the chaos resumes🌼 School reopened on Monday, 8th September 2025, after the Onam holidays Teachers welcomed the students back with an assembly, though attendance was quite low. On Tuesday, we had a regional holiday for the boat race  The rest of the week went by in the usual rush of substitution duties. Teachers distributed the exam answer sheets  I wasn’t very satisfied with my students’ performance — most of them struggled mainly due to lack of time during the exam ... A retest was scheduled for those who scored poorly. I made sure to help my students during free hours and class time to clear their doubts and prepare them better.
