🍂Sixth Week of Teaching Practice – PHASE I (August 18–22, 2025)

⚡A WEEK FULL OF DUTIES ⚡

This week marked the commencement of the Onam First Terminal Examinations at our school. From Monday onwards, the entire schedule was devoted exclusively to examinations and invigilation duties, with no regular classes taking place.

The exams were systematically conducted in two sessions each day – the forenoon session generally allotted to classes 9 and 10, and the afternoon session for class 8. However, on certain days, this pattern varied, with all three classes – 8, 9, and 10 – having their exams distributed across both sessions. This required a more flexible arrangement of duties.

In addition to high school examinations, we were occasionally assigned invigilation duties in the UP section. Supervising the younger students demanded special care to ensure fairness and maintain proper discipline.

Evening discipline duties also continued as usual. It was our responsibility to manage student dispersal and maintain order across the school premises.

Overall, the week was entirely centered around the smooth conduct of the Onam Terminal Examinations. The experience provided us with valuable exposure to exam management, student discipline, and shared responsibilities within the school system.🙂
