COGNITIVE MAP ..π§π«
A cognitive map is a visual representation of knowledge that shows how different ideas, concepts, or processes are linked in the learner’s mind. It helps in organizing complex information, identifying relationships between concepts, and understanding how learning progresses from basic ideas to advanced principles. Cognitive maps are powerful metacognitive tools that support meaningful learning by helping learners visualize the structure of a topic rather than memorizing isolated facts.
In my study process, I created two cognitive maps—one on motion in a plane in Physics and another on haloalkanes and haloarenes in Chemistry.
